Spark Your Writing Creativity:
Think of Someone Who Needs a Word of Hope

by Tricia Goyer

Why are you writing?

Usually, it’s because you feel called to share a message or a story.

When I sit down to write, I often envision a person who needs advice or a word of hope, and I write as if I’m writing just to that person. Sometimes I’ll ask my Facebook friends questions, which always sparks my creativity.

But other times, I will see that someone is struggling, and I will write my book, blog, or message specifically to address that issue. This helps me to remember my reader and not get caught up with my own thoughts.
