Heidi Gaul, of Albany, has 32 devotionals in Guideposts’ newly released 2019 Mornings with Jesus in it. She also was interviewed (along with OCW members Susan Maas and Jane Reid) by Susan King for The Upper Room’s online devotional course.

Mary Hake, of Crooked River Ranch, and Lydia Harris, of Lake Forest Park, Washington, have stories in Moments with Billy Graham. These are personal stories of having been touched, changed, enlightened, etc. by a personal encounter with him or through his ministry. Mary’s story is about understanding salvation and coming to Christ while watching a crusade on TV.

Mary also had seven devotionals in the fall issue of God’s Word for Today and was asked by Clubhouse Magazine to craft a puzzle similar to the one she had in their June issue. This one focuses on prayer and will be in the May issue in connection with the National Day of Prayer.

Yvonne Kays, of Bend, had her story “Held by the Hand of God” in a recent issue of the online magazine Now What? You can find it at this link http://now-what.cog7.org/ .

Marty Magee, of Mill City, had two pieces published in The Gem: “From Every Stormy Wind” and “Just Spread the Mayonnaise.”

 Carrie Stuart Parks, of Cataldo, Idaho, won a Carol Award for Portrait of Vengeance in the mystery/suspense/thriller category. Carrie is keynoting at our February 23, 2019 conference in Salem.

Kendy Pearson, of Dundee, recently appeared on “The Writing Life” (a cable show on MCM-TV, McMinnville). It was a 30-minute interview and she was able to provide the OCW website address. She is also teaching an “Introduction to Writing for Publication” seminar at the Canby Public Library on Saturday, November 10, 10:00–3:30. No registration necessary. Her manuscript for Winds of the Tempest got honorable mention in a contest sponsored by the Idaho Writers Guild.

Cecilia Ardelle Ranger, of Lake Oswego, recently released Everyday God: Reflections on Liturgy and Life. It is available on Amazon at $14.99 for a printed copy and $4.99 on Kindle.

Pat Rushford, of Vancouver, Washington, spoke at one of the libraries in Vancouver on September 25 about writing and answered questions about writing and publishing.
