All Aboard, Punch Your OCW Ticket for a Great 2013

by Frank Yates, OCW Treasurer

Hop aboard the OCW train and enjoy the benefits of membership. OCW ended the fiscal year on September 30, 2012, on a good financial note.

With an ever-expanding and fulfilling agenda for this year, you need to renew your membership (or join for the first time), bring your friends, and enjoy the ride. Three one-day conferences and the annual summer conference are scheduled and taking shape to be increasingly inspirational and educational.

Whether or not you attend conferences, OCW offers many opportunities for all Christian writers—aspiring, beginning, or published. Monthly e-newsletters and quarterly newsletters bring inspiring and timely information. Coordinated critique groups and contacts bring writers together to “Encourage One Another” … the tagline for our 2012 fall one-day conference. Additional benefits are in the developmental stages.

To continue to maintain and expand these programs, OCW needs to expand its membership base. Although volunteers offer their time and expertise to provide a wide array of benefits to members, each program has associated expenses. In addition, normal operating expenses must be paid. Your membership keeps the OCW train on track to provide Christian literature during a difficult time.
