Patricia H. Rushford, OCW Summer Conference Director, has written numerous articles, authored over 45 books, including What Kids Need Most in a Mom, Have You Hugged Your Teenager Today?, and It Shouldn't Hurt to Be a Kid. She also writes a number of mystery series: The Helen Bradley Mysteries, The Angel Delaney Mysteries, The McAllister Files and The Jennie McGrady Mysteries. Her latest releases include The Max & Me Mysteries for children. One of her mysteries, Silent Witness, was nominated for an Edgar by Mystery Writers of America and won the Silver Angel for excellence in media. Patricia has a nursing degree and holds a Master's Degree in Counseling. Sue Miholer, a freelance writer and editor, works with publishers and other writers to develop manuscripts. The name of her business is Picky, Picky Ink. Her own writing projects are usually short devotional pieces. During the school year, she is an assistant in a self-contained classroom for emotionally disturbed young children.
