Membership in the Oregon Christian Writers Association will be granted in accordance with the following Terms and Conditions. You must agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions in order to become a member of Oregon Christian Writers ("OCW"). Please direct any questions to Oregon Christian Writers.

1. OCW Doctrine and Statement of Faith

Founded in 1963, we are an organization of writers, both amateur and professional, who are Christians. Our members write for both ministry and markets, and subscribe to this doctrine:

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth. And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell; the third day He arose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic (universal) church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

2. Copyright.

The entire contents and layout of the OCW website are copyrighted as a collective work under the United States and other copyright laws, and holds the copyright in the collective work. As a registered member, you may view, display and download materials within the website for your own non-commerical use. The OCW website contains, or may contain, material ("content") that is protected by copyright, trademark or other propietary rights. Members agree not to transfer or sell, reproduce, create derivative works from, distribute or modfiy the content of this site without express written permission of OCW. You agree not to change or delete any proprietary notices from materials downloaded from the Service.

3. Submissions.

Submissions to the OCW website are protected by copyright laws. If you submit content to the site, you grant OCW a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to display, reproduce and/or transmit said content in conjunction with the site, while retaining your own copyrights.

OCW reserves the right to review all communication and materials posted by members, and to block or remove materials OCW determines to be unsuitable for the website without recourse. Members may not post or transmit any message which is libelous, defamatory or which discloses private or personal matters concerning any person. Members may not post or transmit any message, data, image or program which is indecent, obscene or pornographic.

6. Indemnification.

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless OCW and all associated content providers from and against all losses, expenses, damages and costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees, resulting from any violation of these Terms and Conditions or any activity related to your account (including negligent or wrongful conduct) by you or any other person accessing the OCW website through your account.

7. Delivery
Once your registration and payment have been processed, you will be granted access to the Members Only section of the website. This may take up to seven (7) working days, depending on the method of payment. Please note that offline payment, such as checks or money orders, may be subject to time delays due to delivery methods beyond the control of OCW and its officers.

Once your registration has been processed, you will receive an e-mail containing your membership access details, including login name, password, and any other information needed. If you do not receive this e-mail in a timely manner, please contact us through the website and we will make every effort to assist you.

8. Assignability:
You may not sub-license, assign, or transfer your membership to anyone else without prior written consent from Oregon Christian Writers. Pleaes keep your login information confidential.

9. Refund policy:
The content of the OCW website consists of a non-tangible, irrevocable goods and thus is not subject to a refund once membership has been paid for and initiated.

10. Support:
OCW strives to provide timely, accurate information and assistance for our members. Such information is provided "as is" and is not supported by OCW unless otherwise stated. Please be sure to verify any information on your own.
