Precious Jesus, Living Water,
OCW has heard Your call to us. We understand we’re to write our Father’s fame and glory, making His name and faithfulness known to all people. We know that all we accomplish You do for us and apart from You we can do nothing (Isaiah 26:12; John 15:5).*

Help us come to Your river of life and make our home with You beside that living stream. Cause us to thrust our spiritual roots deep into the waters flowing from the sanctuary and the altar. Praise You that the source of the river is our sacrificed Lamb’s torn side. Blood and water pour forth and give life to all who drink from that fountain (Ezekiel 47:1–12).

Thank You for meeting us whenever we come to Your river, Father. You promise to speak Your confidential communion and secret counsel to all who choose righteousness (Proverbs 3:32). We long to know Your secrets. Teach us to abide in You, rest in You, and wait patiently for Your Word to manifest to us. Open our ears to hear. Empower us to write Your living word with authority, ability, weight, and power (Luke 4:32).

Help us drink living water daily so we are enabled and energized to serve You. Thank You, Lord, for the blood, the water, and the Word that transform and sustain us. Get glory for Your great name from all we do. Amen.

February 2016 Prayer Time

Heavenly Father, Thank You for the grace of love, for giving us Your peace and the gift of faith to believe that You have accomplished for us what we could not do for ourselves. Thank You, Jesus, for being obedient to the point of death. Your love is amazing! Holy Spirit, thank You for being to us the token pledge from Jesus, our beloved husband, that He will return for us, His Bride, after He has prepared a place for us. Come quickly. We love You because You first loved us.
