April 2013 Prayer Time

written by Eva Gibson, Prayer Team Member

“The Lord lives; blessed be my Rock, and exalted be God, the Rock of my salvation” (2 Samuel 22:47 amp).

Father God, our Savior, our Strength and Provider and powerful Helper, we come into Your presence and rejoice in who You are and that You have chosen us to write for Your glory. But, Lord, we confess that we are needy and often without strength. We need You to infuse us with the power that will enable us to find the right words at the right time.

As we seek You, we remember Your Word: “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand” (Isaiah 41:10 niv). “Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God” (Colossians 3:16 nasb).

Lord, we need You to strengthen us that we might have words that touch our families and churches, our communities and our world. “The lovingkindness of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting” (Psalm 103:17 nasb). Use each one You have called to accomplish that which You have given us to do. Amen and Amen.

February 2016 Prayer Time

Heavenly Father, Thank You for the grace of love, for giving us Your peace and the gift of faith to believe that You have accomplished for us what we could not do for ourselves. Thank You, Jesus, for being obedient to the point of death. Your love is amazing! Holy Spirit, thank You for being to us the token pledge from Jesus, our beloved husband, that He will return for us, His Bride, after He has prepared a place for us. Come quickly. We love You because You first loved us.
